Message The point here is to simplify and experiment, i agree if anyone is navigating a PC while trying to navigate the freeway, they should be shot in the head before they take out an innocent motorist.

And again, this is totally just me thinking outloud.

-begin prophesying
I can see a future where all cars will communicate with one another while on the road. It just make sense that with the way technology is heading that its just a matter of time before all cars (at least new cars) will carry some sort of wireless technology to communicate with their surrounding cars. Why? Safety....

If your car is actively monitoring its surroundings, it can react to the unusually low tire pressure reading coming from two cars in front of you. By the time that tire blows you'll have ample warning.

No by no means am I trying to develop that kind of complex system. All I'm saying is that wireless technologies are here to stay. At such an early stage, why not play around with its capabilities.

Anyway, i'm tired of rambling. I know this went way off topic, lol.

:if you are driving around, you shouldnt be on a PC, a cell phone, or anywhere but 'heads up'.
:if you are parked and hanging out in a parking lot, you can talk to them inperson.
::shrug:
:like my in car DVD/TV-video setup, wireless networking seems totally useless.
